Data Migration of JTracker to BATS CRM
WHAT IS HAPPENING ON JANUARY 1st , 2022?
On January 1st, 2022, Cox Enterprises through Dealertrack and Central Dispatch will be conducting a forced migration of customer data from their current JTracker CRM (Customer Response Management) to BATS CRM.
This data will include customer information, billing details and payment information along with company data which is all supposed to be private.
As members of Central Dispatch, we are required to be licensed and bonded.
The only way to access Jtracker CRM is through a membership with Central Dispatch.
JTracker has been a leader of the industries CRMs since 2005.
Parties Behind This Deal
Lets follow the rabbit hole. Based on investigative sources, the involved parties are as follows:
BATS CRM is owned by iBility Media.
iBility Media is also a Lead Provider in the industry.
iBility Media is associated with Gavin Kesten.
Gavin Kesten owns Ship Your Car Now, a competitor broker company in the industry.
Shady practices are seen in many online reviews for iBility Media.
They are reviewed many times for selling filtered leads dating back to 2016.
Multiple reviewers claim the leads they obtained from iBility Media were already booked through Ship Your Car Now. Click the images below or go to: https://autotransportleadsreview.com/ibilitymedia/
This would mean the leads were booked prior to selling to the competitors buying leads from iBility Media.
This raises many alarms. Trusting a company accused of this can be very dangerous to the security of both company and customers who would use a car shipping service of some type.
JTracker is a staple of the industry dating back to 2005.
Ask anyone on the broker side of the auto transport industry and they will know what JTracker is.
GAVIN KESTEN'S CONNECTION TO ALL THIS?
Before we examine Gain Kestens connection to all of this, we have to go over these little details first.
Here is an email I was sent by a worried individual
Response from Tom at BATS CRM.
Google search 'Tom Kustura Sunbiz'.
What did you find?
The only listing I can find with Tom Kusturas name attached on Sunbiz is:
Date Filed on November 1st 2016.
73 TECH INC which is listed as INACTIVE on January 8th 2021.
After some digging, I found out who George Mavrantzas really is.
Wait till you see how sloppy they are in their little scheme.
Click George Mavrantzas
Then come back here because there is More in relation to Gavin Kesten's connection.
Now lets check this known character in the auto transport industry.
Gavin Kesten Ventures LLC has 6 different listings on Sunbiz.org.
Google search Gavin Kesten Ventures Sunbiz.
This is a required listing to operate a business in Florida.
Check BORO GEAR LLC and look at the address. Note the address.
BORO GEAR LLC is at 980 N Federal Highway #302 Boca Raton FL 33432
BATS is at 900 N Federal Highway #470 Boca Raton FL 33432
The Website Business Address is neighbors with BORO GEAR!
Check the Google Maps Search HERE and confirm the addresses.
Then look at BATS Website HERE and scroll to the bottom.
SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN.
They are literally a 4 minute walk from each other.
Notice: Since the first screen shot was obtained on December 3, 2021, the year the website was dated has been removed. This means they updated and possibly thought about removing the address but realized it would be too suspect. Where is the year Tom? Why would you remove it??
We see you Tom Kustura.
The link below is from Web.Archive.Org
It will show you what was on the page May 19, 2021.
The removal of the year 2019 OneVTMS, was executed on December 4th, 2021.
It is rumored among the industry that iBility Media is connected to Gavin Kesten.
This is very concerning as our customer data will be migrated to the organization.
Gavin Kesten, through iBility Media will have access to ALL of our company and customer data with this Forced Migration.
We pay $199/month for initial membership and $50/month each additional account with Jtracker which is managed by Dealertrack. We signed up for Jtracker because of its secure system and easy to use interface.
This is a conflict of interest between all the involved parties and is a potential security risk. Not only a risk to the broker companies involved but also a risk to their customers data being siphoned.
We were not asked nor was a survey conducted to ask their users how we felt about this migration.
COX Enterprises is a $21 Billion dollar company that should investigate this further.
A better approach would be to create their own software or better, stay with Jtracker.
DO YOU CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER DATA?
