Before we get into Flat Earth, lets discuss why the Globe as a sphere is not accepted by some.
There are many questions when it comes to Earth involving the vastness of space. For as long as some of us can remember, we have been taught certain aspects of what the system around our world is like. Some of these aspects create more questions when taking a closer look at what we have been taught.

Earth's Orbit
The common conception around the world is the planets in our solar system orbit around the Sun because of the Sun's strong gravitational pull. The Sun pulls the planets in the solar system, including the Earth, towards it and allows the planets to remain in orbit.
The Helical model claims the Sun and our Solar System orbits the Milky Way galaxy. This model is widely accepted by many as highly possible but NASA has not confirmed or denied.
If this were true, how come Polaris (North Star) does not move?
This can be seen in the video as our entire star system seems to spin around the bright North Star.

William Herschel (late 18th century) measured it to be magnitude 2.4, and around 1900 it was cataloged at 2.2. But astronomy historians have long pointed out that old magnitude estimates are notoriously unreliable."

It was around 500 B.C. that Pythagoras first proposed a spherical Earth, mainly on aesthetic grounds rather than on any physical evidence. Like many Greeks, he believed the sphere was the most perfect shape.

This 1491 map is the best surviving map of the world as Christopher Columbus knew it as he made his first voyage across the Atlantic. In fact, Columbus likely used a copy of it in planning his journey. Notice the wall around the continents. The map clearly shows the Earth is flat according to their perspective.
History books say when Columbus made landfall in the West Indies on October 12, 1492, he began looking for Japan, still believing that he’d achieved his goal of finding a route to Asia. How can this be true if his map had a wall? How could he plan a trip to Asia with a wall blocking his path on the map he used?
The history regarding Flat Earth and Round Earth contradicts itself.
- First, Pythagoras of Samos determined Earth was round in the first century?
- Second, in the 1490's, Columbus planned his trip on a Flat Earth map but history says he knew the Earth was round, while other sources say he thought the Earth was was flat?
- Third, a Catholic Geographer mocked a man for saying the the Earth was a circle even though he planned his trip with a Flat Earth map surrounded by a wall?
The Life and Voyages of Christopher Columbus
In 1828, Washington Irving published The Life and Voyages of Christopher Columbus. Irving's inspiration came after his friend, Alexander Hill Everett, the United States’ minister to Spain, invited Irving to stay with him in Madrid.
While visiting the city, Irving was tempted by a gigantic archive of documents about Columbus and decided to write the explorer’s biography.

In order to confirm the Earth is a globe or sphere, one must go up and verify for self. The first air plane was invented by the Wright Brothers of North Carolina in 1903 when the Wrights took flight for the first time in the 1903 Wright Flyer.

The concept of a sphere planet was adopted long before we were able to fly. This would be like determining what type of engine a car has without opening up the hood to check and verify what type of engine it really is.
The main question to all of this is, Why?
Could this be a way of keeping people in the dark about something so vivid for nefarious reasons? Make us search for truth on a concept that was built on a lie? Are we like the dog, running in circles chasing its own tail?

In order to take any of this serious, you have to be open to the possibility that the wealthy elite (bloodlines dating back centuries) are in control of our world leaders. By making us believe we live in a globe, we will never attempt to venture out in discovery because there would be no point unless we travel to space. For space travel, a space agency would be needed for their resources and experience.

Who is Orlando Ferguson?

Ferguson was born near Du Quoin, Illinois in 1846. He married in 1872 and moved to the Dakota Territory in the early 1880s, finally settling in Hot Springs, South Dakota in 1886. There, he ran a grocery store for a few years, and later built a hotel.
After the hotel was lost in a fire, he built a bath house around the Siloam Springs. While often referred to as "doctor", Ferguson was not a formal doctor or trained as such. The name came from the sick who visited the bath house.
In 2011, Ferguson was the subject of press attention after a copy of his 1893 flat earth map was donated to and accepted by the Library of Congress. The Fall River Pioneer Museum in Hot Springs also retains a slightly-incomplete copy.
