The Apollo 11 Moon Landing in 1969

What if in 1969, CBS aired the Moon Landing LIVE as the pilot episode to the Longest Running Reality TV show in world history? A broadcast that was viewed by people all over the world on Television sets that looked like microwaves.

Keep in mind, this was broadcasted LIVE when most people had Black and White TV sets. Not many knew what a simulation was till the Matrix came out in 1999. Could it all be a money grab using space exploration reality TV entertainment to extract tax reserves from Federal Governments? That doesnt sit too well in my stomach. 

One solid question that really digs is, who directed the Moon Landing simulation?
Another question is, where is the prop used to film the simulation, Today?
No one seems to know.
